Terms of Service

By accessing or using Daiku ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Daiku is a personal finance web application for tracking expenses, managing budgets, monitoring net worth, and projecting financial scenarios. The Service is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial use.

Daiku is in active development. Features may change at any time.

Daiku is a financial tracking tool only. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Projections and FIRE calculations are illustrative tools, not guarantees.

Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to register.

You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes; attempt unauthorised access to other users' data; reverse-engineer the Service; use automated scripts to scrape data at scale; or introduce malware.

You retain full ownership of your financial data. Our use is limited to operating and improving the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

We recommend exporting your data periodically.

By inviting a household member, you grant them access according to the role you assign. You are responsible for managing access and member actions.

The Daiku name, logo, design, and all original content are our intellectual property.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy of financial projections or exchange rate data.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daiku shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or financial losses.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months (or USD 10 if nothing).

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Uruguay. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Montevideo, Uruguay.
